Installing Eclipse Neon on Ubuntu 16.04

After upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04, Eclipse Mars would run “okay” but would not launch applications to run or debug.

So I downloaded the Eclipse Installer from download “neon”

By default the installer installs Eclipse in /home/USERNAME/eclipse/WHICH_ECLIPSE_VERSION. For my laptop, I let it install Eclipse there.

In /usr/share/applications, I created eclipse-neon-java.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Eclipse-Neon-PHP
Type=Application
Exec=/home/roye/eclipse/php-neon/eclipse/eclipse
Terminal=false
Icon=/home/roye/eclipse/php-neon/eclipse/icon.xpm
Comment=Integrated Development Environment
NoDisplay=false
Categories=Development;IDE;
Name[en]=Eclipse-Neon-PHP

2016 Motorcycle Trip

This is our 2016 Motorcycle trip. We’ve not done a long motorcycle trip since 2012.

The plan is to go to Cody WY and from there home will depending on the fires in Yellowstone, Idaho and Washington. Most likely we will go to Deadwood/Sturgis/Custer SD and then home
